We run crucial campaigns against the banned and cruel use of glue traps, Chinese manjha on wildlife and the illegal captivity of animals. We conduct outreach events and set up awareness stalls in corporate and Forest Department events to educate communities.

We participate in NGO convergence meets to share knowledge and strengthen advocacy and engage in Forest Department events for operational synergy and compliance.
Strides 25
Corporate engagements are also utilized for large-scale awarenes. More than 100 Deutsche Bank employees participated in a walkathon called "STRIDE 25" in Goa on January 25, 2025. The event was a charity fundraiser and an awareness campaign. Participants wore T-shirts with the WRRC logo as they walked, promoting the cause.
Community Education and Public Awareness-SOUL SANTE 2023-2025
WRRC is committed to fostering a culture of responsible interaction with wildlife through targeted outreach. Outreach events are regularly conducted within communities, like the Summer camp events, or stalls at various corporates at their campus where WRRC created awareness about pet animal care and the illegal wild animal trade
World Elephant day celebrations
To celebrate World Elephant Day, the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre’s (WRRC) Elephant Care Facility (ECF) team prepared special fruit cakes for their elephants august 12th. They also visited a school in Narsapura to host an awareness program, educating children on the challenges and impact of life in captivity on elephants.
Sinhasi conference for social impact
On August 2, 2023, Sinhasi Consultants held its first Social Impact Initiative Conference in Bangalore, focusing on social investments, wildlife, and climate change.

The International Conference on Human-Elephant Conflict Management (ICHECM), held in Bengaluru in August 12, 2024, was a significant event organized by the Karnataka Forest Department. The dignitaries included CM Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM D K Shivakumar and the CM’s legal advisor A. S Ponnanna.

Inauguration of the ECF facility
Mr. Jacob Peter, Executive Board Member and Senior VP of Mobility R&D at BGSW, inaugurated the new elephant care facility at WRRC. The inauguration was graced by Ms. Shilpa Deodhar, CSR Head at BGSW, along with Chandra Mouli T and Rajat Khajane from the BGSW CSR team. Honored trustees of WRRC, Suparna Ganguly and Dr. Shiela Rao, were also present, alongside WRRC staff including Col. Arvind Bhagra, Ajay Arjun, and Likitha Appaiah, marking a significant step forward in elephant welfare.
HCL Foundation: Empowering NGOs through Strategic Collaboration and Convergence-
• Convergence Meets with Other NGOs: Participation in meets, such as the PFC at Delhi - HCL partner's meet which involved over 300 NGOs 12-01-2025.
• Convergence forums are essential for sharing best practices, coordinating efforts, and building strong networks that lead to joint projects and collective advocacy on conservation and policy issues such as one held on 21-10-2024
Participation in Forest Department Events -2024-2025
Close coordination with the state Forest Department is mandatory for an organization involved in wildlife rescue. Participating in their events, often by setting up awareness stalls, being a part as knowledge sharing amplifies our mission , leveraging the department's jurisdiction and resources in protected forest areas. This partnership is non-negotiableand crucial with other partner animal NGO’s for effective wildlife conservation efforts holistically.
Wild life conference held in Jabalpur
From 24th April to 26th April 2025. 4 sessions of poster presentation ,15 cases were presented in 1 session and 7 oral presentation sessions comprising 15 case presentations with two lead paper presentations The poisoning case in peafowl and removal of fish hook with the help of endoscopy in oral presentation and 1 poster on surgical management of traumatic wounds in snakes were presented by Dr.Nirupama jaisingh,Sr. VET ,WRRC
